The cabin is located 13 miles from Stone Mountain State Park. This State Park is a place where you can take part in nearly every type of outdoor activity – camping, hiking, climbing, fishing, picnicking, horseback riding, and more. There are more than 18 miles of trails, matched by more than 20 miles of designated trout waters in this park that spreads below the Blue Ridge Parkway. Highly suggested by us. We also recommend sampling the many North Carolina tasting rooms that warmly welcome wine enthusiasts of every palate, all with signature Southern hospitality included.

    Other things to note:
Our cabin sits on a gravel road on top of the mountain that's 2.5 miles from the gated entrance for extra privacy and security. *We do advise driving an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle to climb the hill to the cabin. (Please see policies for more info)
Plenty of AC to cool off in the hot months. Our place sleeps anywhere from 10+ very comfortably.

*There is space to set up air mattresses in the downstairs area if you have an extra-large group.
One often under-appreciated health perk of rural living is unlimited access to a cleaner, more natural source of water: well water.
Most city water comes from rivers and lakes. These once-upon-a-time pristine waterways are now nearly all polluted with raw sewage, pharmaceuticals, motor fuel from boats, and industrial runoff. Most water isn't perfect anymore, that's just the way it is. But when you own your own well, you get to control the quality and purity of your water. We use our local well water and test for purity regularly.
**Because we use well water, it is necessary to note that you should wait a few minutes before each guest showers/bathes so that the tank can fill back up.

You're going to love this place. Welcome to your home away from home.
